Publishing Policies
Editorial Principles
We publish practical guidance on language tech, heritage-language learning, AI training, and test-driven development (TDD). We write for everyday heritage-language users (diaspora + learners) and developers who want clear, usable steps without hype. We do it to help people use their languages in real life and ship better software—when something is an opinion, we label it, and when something’s uncertain or changing fast, we say so.
Corrections Policy
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Material errors are corrected on the page as soon as practicable. For significant corrections, we may add a dated note on the page describing what changed and when. Please send corrections via the Contact page.
Diversity Policy
Orynycz.com serves a global audience, including minority and heritage-language communities. We aim to be respectful, accurate, and non-extractive—especially when writing about identity, history, or community issues. We avoid stereotyping, slurs, and demeaning framing, and we try to use community-preferred names and terms when reasonably possible. If something lands badly, tell us via the Contact page and we’ll review and update it.
Organizational
Ownership
Orynycz.com is owned and operated by Petro Orynycz. We are self-funded through paid plans and may also earn revenue from consulting, digital products, or disclosed affiliate links. Revenue sources do not influence what we publish or how we review products. Any sponsorships or grants will be clearly disclosed.
Actionable Feedback Policy
We welcome useful feedback: bugs, unclear wording, broken links, and factual corrections. We review reports and prioritize issues that affect users (security, payments/access, and material errors) first. We can’t promise a reply to every message, but we do read them.
For major corrections or policy changes, we may add a dated note on the affected page. Send feedback via the Contact page.
Ethics Policy
We aim to build and publish in a way that respects users and their data. We don’t sell personal data, and we avoid manipulative design.
We disclose and clearly label paid relationships (e.g., affiliates or sponsorships) when they exist, and we don’t accept compensation for undisclosed endorsements. We don’t plagiarize, and we credit sources when we rely on them.
If a feature has limitations or tradeoffs, we say it plainly. If you spot a problem, report it via the Contact page.
Diversity Staffing Report
Orynycz.com is independently run and currently has no employees or formal hiring process, so we don’t publish staffing diversity reports at this time. If that changes (e.g., we form a team or begin hiring), we’ll update this section with concrete information.
